Ustrzyki Gorne border camp invitation
A few informations about the campaign "No one is Illegal".
The anti-border camp will take place on 13-19 july 2000 in Ustrzyki Gorne in
the Bieszczady region, in the triangle of borders Slovakia, Ukraine, Poland.
We don't want to exaggerate with the organising, the intention is to have a
spontaneous and cheerful event. The detailed plan will be fixed only for the
weekend of 15-16th. On that day we will make an interesting happening on the
border.
The food will be cooked collectively for money raised from everybody, unless
they can't afford it. There will be discussions and lectures about the current
direction of policies of Poland and EU in the questions of migration and borders:
tightening of control, deportations, asylum right, etc...
There will be an exposition about the Lemkowie ethnic group autochtonous of
the region, which was one to suffer deportations organised by polish stalinists.
Otherwise, social meetings, parties, attacks on border police, anarchist agitation
among tourists and local people. Add your own materials, stickers, posters,
leaflets!
In the surroundings of Ustrzyki Gorne there are a few camping places - for
the moment we have not decided which one we will use - if the information on
that doesn't reach you in time, don't worry: you'll find us!
If somebody is interested, please contact us. Add your ideas, we are all the
time open for new things.
On 17-18th june there was a meeting in Poznan squat ROZBRAT of the No Border network, some of the topics discussed:
- international campaigns against borders and deportations,
- coordination of anti-border camps in Poland, Germany, Mexico
and Italy.
- coordination of campaigns against airlines engaged in the
deportations of immigrants
Were present guests from Germany, Holland, Switzerland/Bulgaria, France, Spain, and Britain.
With anarchist greetings
ps. the UOP secret police has recently become more arrogant, and a lot of our
mail comes late (if it does at all). The bastards don't even try to hide control
and are not even closing the envelopes back.
If someone doesn't get a reply (usually we send it quickly), contact us by telephone
or e-mail.
