Cologne is expecting the oppening of new squatts! Why?

The official numbers of homelessnes are 8000 and people triyng to find a flat or another place to live are estimated at around 40000 in Cologne! This are just the official figures, hence the real figures are probably much higher! The only answers to these problems are nightshelters like "annostrasse" ore council flats thhat do not really earn the name "flat". Here people are put in Ghettolike anonymus estates. This results into total lonelyless. But there is buildings, but after they have been empty for years and are rebuild, the rents are so high, that nowone can actually pay for them! We are not taking this any longer! We want to live in communities were we can decide for ourselfs!

FOR THIS REASON WE HAVE TODAY, 8.11.1997 SQUATTED THE SPICHERSTR.25

But if we stay allone, we will never win!!!

NB: There are still lots of empty houses. Lets decide over our own lives and show the capitalists that they will never own us!

On Monday we receivede the message, that Spichernstrasse is still sqautted! On saturday 15.11.1997 thhere will be a neighbourhood party inthe evening with Live music!

IF THERE IS AN EVICTION, THERE WILL BE A DEMONSTRATION ON THE SAME DAY AT 6pm at RUDOLFPLATZ!
